1. Scope
This website is operated by Nishant Sah, trading as Fastbooks, a sole proprietorship.
This policy covers the public Fastbooks website, direct setup or support communications, and FataFat's Gmail connection. Other information stored inside an installed or hosted Fastbooks business is governed by the applicable product, deployment and support arrangements.
2. Information You Choose to Share
When you contact Fastbooks, request assisted setup, ask for a demo or register operator interest, you may provide details such as your name, business name, city, phone number, email address and a description of your accounting workflow. Please avoid sending passwords, authentication tokens or unredacted sensitive business records through a general website enquiry.
3. How We Use Contact Information
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, arrange setup or support, understand product requirements and improve Fastbooks. We do not sell or rent your contact information to advertisers.
4. Website Storage and Analytics
This public website is primarily static. It may use configured analytics tools to understand page visits and product-entry actions. Direct WhatsApp and email messages are handled by those third-party communication services and by the Fastbooks team receiving the message.
5. Connected Gmail Data
When you connect Gmail, FataFat requests read-only access to your email address, messages and attachments so it can retain business evidence for your company's review. Ordinary capture does not send or delete mail. After a backup is saved locally, an optional administrative notification can send its completion time, backup kind and archive filename to the recipient you configure, using separate send permission. The notification contains no absolute file path, archive attachment or business content; the backup stays local.
On installed FataFat, the local email bridge retrieves messages and attachments directly from Google and delivers retained evidence to the owning company. Refresh credentials are encrypted in the local bridge's storage. The Cloudflare authorization service briefly handles connection and renewal credentials and installation context; it does not fetch mailbox content or maintain a central Gmail token store. If you enable AI evidence features, selected retained attachments may be sent to the configured AI provider for extraction and review.
We use Google user data to provide the features you authorize. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. FataFat team members may view Google user data only with your explicit permission for support, where necessary for security, or as required by law. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The encrypted local authorization grant is kept while your Gmail connection remains configured. You can remove a connection in Company Settings after pending delivery and failed-work review safeguards are satisfied. Removal deletes that local connection's credential record. You can separately revoke FataFat's Google access in your Google Account settings; removing a connection does not automatically revoke Google access.
Messages and attachments already retained in the company remain business records under company permissions and may also exist in company backups. FataFat does not automatically delete them when you disconnect Gmail. Their retention follows the owning company's record-keeping decisions and applicable obligations. Contact your company administrator or Fastbooks support to discuss an authorized retention or removal request. Fastbooks cannot remotely erase records held only on your computer.
6. Third-Party Services
Links may open services such as WhatsApp, email, analytics providers, a download host or a hosted Fastbooks service. Those services operate under their own privacy terms. Review them before sharing sensitive information.
7. Removal and Questions
To ask a question about this policy, request removal of contact information held through website enquiries, or discuss Gmail data retention and removal, contact Fastbooks using the email or WhatsApp details published on the contact page. For records in a company installation, also contact that company's administrator. A request may require reasonable verification before information is changed or removed.
